## Overview

The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas 4Motion SEL Premium represents the top of the Atlas lineup, and it shows the moment you sit inside. This wasn't a base model — VW loaded the SEL Premium trim with leather seating, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and a full suite of driver assistance features that were ahead of the curve for a three-row SUV in 2019. The 3.6L V6 delivers confident power, and the 4Motion all-wheel drive system makes this Atlas a genuinely capable choice for Ontario's snowy winters and long highway stretches.

This SUV is perfect for growing families who need real third-row seating that adults can actually use, not an afterthought bench. With power windows in the second row, a power liftgate, and dual-zone climate control, everyday practicality was clearly a priority in this trim. Safety-conscious buyers will appreciate the inclusion of forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitor, and adaptive cruise control — features that add real peace of mind on the 401 or navigating downtown London traffic.

The Atlas's biggest strength is its interior space combined with genuine three-row usability, something many competitors in this class still struggle to match. Add in the confident V6 power and standard AWD, and you get an SUV that can tow, haul, and comfortably move a family of seven without feeling stretched thin.

At this price point, a fully-loaded SEL Premium trim with this much technology and comfort built in is a smart buy for Ontario families looking for space and capability without stepping into luxury SUV pricing. Vehicles like this don't often come around this well-equipped for the money.

## The story

I've had a lot of Atlas models come through the lot, but the SEL Premium trims like this one always stand out to me. You can tell VW didn't hold back on this trim — the panoramic sunroof, the leather seating, the heated front seats, it all adds up to a genuinely comfortable place to spend time, whether it's a quick errand run or a long drive up north.

What I appreciate most about this particular Atlas is how much technology and safety equipment came standard on the SEL Premium — adaptive cruise, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring — these aren't small add-ons, they're the kind of features that make daily driving noticeably easier and safer.

I priced this one to reflect its kilometres honestly, because I'd rather be upfront with buyers than oversell a vehicle. If you need three-row seating and all-wheel drive, this Atlas gives you a lot of SUV for the money.

• Verify the panoramic sunroof drains are clear, a known maintenance item on Atlas models to prevent water intrusion
