Serving Erieau, Chatham-Kent County
Erieau was founded in 1869 as a Pere Marquette Railway terminus and grew up as a Lake Erie fishing port and grain shipping point on the harbour at the mouth of Rondeau Bay. The village retains its working-port character with the Erieau Marina and a small commercial fishing fleet, and the long pier and the McGeachy Pond Conservation Area draw birders and beachgoers.
