Serving Palmerston, Wellington County
Palmerston was founded in 1871 as a Grand Trunk Railway divisional point — at its peak the rail yards employed over 600 and the village earned the nickname "the Railway Town." The Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum preserves an active railway interpretation centre, and the wooden pedestrian bridge over the rail corridor remains the only one of its kind still in use in Ontario.
