Serving Bothwell, Chatham-Kent County
Bothwell was settled in the 1840s by Scottish immigrants from Bothwell, Lanarkshire, and grew up around the Great Western Railway and a brief 1860s oil boom in the surrounding Bothwell oil field. The community kept its small-town Scottish character through the 20th century and remains a tight farming community at the western edge of Chatham-Kent.
