Serving Caledonia, Haldimand County
Caledonia was settled in the 1830s along the Grand River and named after the Roman name for Scotland in honour of the area's Scottish settlers. The community grew up around the Grand River and the Welland Canal feeder, and today is the largest community in Haldimand County — with a downtown that retains its 19th-century stone-block architecture along Argyle Street.
